At sundown on Sun, Sept 13, 2015, it will be the 1st day of the 7th month on the
Biblical Calendar.  God told the Israelites of old to mark this day with sounding
an alarm, in Hebrew "teruah" !  God set aside a whole day to listen to an alarm!
Why?  Because He wanted to make sure that no one missed The Atonement
provided 10 days later on Yom Kippur - The Day of Atonement.

Come learn about The Alarm sounded through the "shofar" - the ram's horn,
and what we should do in response to hearing this alarm.

The Salvation of The Jewish People

day of fasting - no food/refreshments !

In the days of Moses, this One Day was set aside by God for the Atonement
(Covering Over) of sins.    All the provisions in this day were to be signs so
we could recognize God's Ultimate Provision - Yeshua - Jesus - The Lamb of
God who takes away the sins of the world.

Very few Jewish people (and for that matter, not that many Gentiles) have
accepted God's gift of Redemption found only in Messiah Yeshua.

Tonite we pray on behalf of those who do not know Yeshua.  And, we pray
that we and all those who do believe would be strengthened by God to do
all we can to proclaim this Good News of Salvation in Messiah Yeshua - Jesus.

God commanded the Jewish people, once the were settled in The Holy Land, to each year go outside of their homes and live for a week in a temporary shelter.  This was to remind them that God, Himself, was their Security and Provider.   Yeshua - Jesus was in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem on the last, Great Day of this Feast.  His stunning declaration on that day created hot debate among the crowds at The Temple.

Come celebrate our Creator and Redeemer - God our Provider - with song and dance, testimony and teaching from God's Word.
