VIDEO: Sand bars run far out from shoreline and the Mediterranean's waves are not terribly harsh (although they are, indeed, POWERFUL.) Makes for a lot of fun "jumping waves" as they roll in!
Israel enjoys miles of fantastic sandy beaches on its shore with the Mediterranean Sea. Few things are as awe-inspiring as walking along the beach as the sun sets and the light trails across the waters. (see pic below)
