COWS OF UPPER GALILEE - INCLUDES VIDEO

I've had the privilege to live in Montana and even participated in "Branding" Day there. During my time in Upper Galilee it seemed to me there were similarities to the terrain in Montana, including the various places cows are put to graze. Especially in southeastern Montana there are less than ideal grazing areas and while the North of Israel certainly has more vegetation than most of the south, there are many areas that are dirt and rocks and remind me of the area around Ashland and Broadus, Montana.
I knew I was in cow country in Israel when a saw several cattle grates on the dirt roads that branched off the main highway.
